Happy Birthday, Dottie. Hope all is well with you and yours.
Ralph and I both played baritone saxaphone in the Ray High Shcool Band. Shared a lot of time together. Was a real stand up guy, always pleasant and always did a good job of what he tackled. Have great respect for him.

Happy Birthday, Friend. Have a great one!
I know I'm late, but I had intended a birthday shout out on the correct day. Hope all is well with you and yours. Would love a good chat.

Happy birthday, tomorrow! Hope it's better to be early than late. I have a way of waiting to be "on the day" then remember the day after. Aren't you one of those who not only have a birthday, but a birthday week, and a birthday month? Hope all is going well . Meanwhile, enjoy this Valentine's Day. Thinking of you.

Wanted to touch base with you on your birthday. Hope all is well. Lots of changes in Corpus. Baker and Cunningham Jr Highs were replaced with new buildings this fall. New bridge is being built to replace the Harbor Bridge . What a beautiful landmark to go. But you probably have read all this in the Facebook "We grew up in Corpus Christi" group. Are you a member?
I'm still in San Antonio. Moved here in 1985 when HEB moved its headquarters. Really like living here, except for the heat. We had the hottest Sept on record this year.
Guess you are about to enjoy some beautiful color where you live. I do love fall color.
Again, Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Doris. Hope all is well with you. Here in San Antonio we went through a very hot and dry summer, then Sept brought us more than 18 inches of rain, our 3rd wettest month ever. That's Texas. Don't know if you live on the flat or in the mountains, but here is to the lovely weather of October. Time for me to set out my pansies.
Hurricane Michael this week brought back a lot of memories of hurricanes from my Corpus era. The best of times...and...the worst of times. Carla took the roof off our house and we camped out from room to room for 3 months. But it was alway amazing how neighbors pulled together when the fences were down. When did you leave Corpus? I went to Del Mar after Ray, then on to North Texas to finish up. Came back to Corpus to teach. It was in 1985 that my husband was transfered to San Antonio when HEB moved its headquarters here. Remember HEB? I love SA, but I still miss the water in CC.
Would love to hear from you if you have a minute.
