PATTEE BARTON OBITUARY

Pattee Critz Barton born in September of 1941, lost a short but fierce battle with cancer December 17th, 2022. She was born in Corpus Christi to John Franklin Sr. and Isabelle Pattee Critz. She had two siblings, Franklin "Skipper" (Susie) and Richard Critz. Her parents, and both brothers preceded her in death. She is survived by her three sons Hamilton (Jill) and twins John (Odilia) and James (Lisa) Barton and her grandchildren Keene, Keldon, Kaleb, Jace, Karoline, and Molly Jane. Also, survived by former husband, the father of her children Cary Barton. Pattee graduated from Ray High school, then studied at Pine Manor and TCU. She was a Buccaneer Days' Court Duchess and made her debutant presentation in Corpus Christi in 1963. She married Cary Barton in 1964 and accompanied him during his 3rd year of Law School in Cambridge MA., later moving to Washington D.C. She returned to Corpus Christi in 1967 and remained there until 2002 when she moved to San Antonio to remain close to family. She spent the last several years thoroughly enjoying life, especially at the Inn of Los Patios with an ever-growing circle of friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 12 p.m. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
