Knew Nub ever since middle school. We became very close friends and were as close as two guys could be and not be brothers. He was the oldest of the 4 of us, Nub, Mickey, Russel and Doug, that ran around together for many years. He owned and operated Mustang Oil Field Tool Company in Robstown, TX. His unexpected death came because of heart failure. He is greatly missed and survived by his two children,Claude Birge Jr. of Chicago and Claudia of Katy, Texas. God Bless and Keep you old friend & buddy. Michael(Mickey) Blackburn
