GILBERT AND I GOT TO BE GOOD FRIENDS AFTER COLLEGE PLAYING SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL . I REMEMBER PICKING COLE UP AT THE AIRPORT IN HOUSTON AFTER HIS FIRST HEART ATTACK. HE TOLD ME THEN NO ONE WAS GOING TO CUT HIM OPEN. HE WAS NOT GOING TO HAVE A BIG SCAR DOWN THE MIDDLE OF HIS CHEST. AS WE ALL KNOW WE LOST GILBERT WHEN THE NEXT BIG HEART ATTACK CAME ALONG. HE WAS A FUN LOVING GUY AND HAD A GREAT WIFE.     WE ALL HAD SOME GREAT TIME TOGETHER.    WE LOST HIS WIFE   JOY   THIS LAST YEAR TO CANCER. THEY WILL BOTH BE MISSED.     SKINNER

OUR SENIOR YEAR.......We always went straight from English class to Macs for lunch....Betty Z driving her blue Buick with all of us piled in it!  What fun times we had.  In our adult years, me trying to get you back to good health after the heart attack, running on the beach for exercise and cooking healthy meals so you would eat right!  You did loose the weight!  The wonderful years you had in San Miguel playing (and beating, I am sure) all of the little old ladies at Bridge Club!  I sometimes think I still see you walking the streets here!  Now you are in the big SMA up there in the sky....still winning at Bridge I am sure!  Will miss you always!  Love,  Janice
