Ann Lancaster Gardner

I am thrilled to find this site and to see so many former classmates and friends. I look forward to attending the reunion this fall! After graduation in 1960, I attended the University of Texas, undergraduate and Law School, married Terry, who is also a lawyer, and moved to Fort Worth where I practiced insurance and appellate law with a firm until I was appointed to the Second Court of Appeals in 2000, and have served on that court ten years.

What I recall most is the football season of our senior year, with pep rallies and the parade of cars decorated with crepe paper, winning the games, especially against Miller and, finally, winning the state championship game in Austin over Wichita Falls. Somehow, I ended up with a high school scrapbook that is filled with nothing but newspaper articles of all the games that year. No-one could ask for a better senior year in high school
than that!
