Allen Rockne Jones, 73 of Punta Gorda, FL passed from this life to his heavenly home on August 4, 2016.

Born in Parsons, KS on Oct 3, 1942 to the late Arthur L. and Nina Irene (Hesting) Jones, Allen graduated from W.B. Ray High School, Corpus Christi, TX in 1960.

In 1962, he married Wanda L. Wallis and they later divorced.

On June 29, 1979 Allen married Debbie Rector and they recently celebrated 37 years of marriage.

Allen’s sales career spanned over 30 years with Farah, Inc., Levi Strauss & Co., KEY Industries, Inc. and Sapko, Intl. He mentored countless sales professionals and loved being in the "rag business".

When he retired, Allen's overwhelming passion for baseball was fulfilled by becoming a Fan-Host for the minor league Charlotte Stone Crabs baseball team (Tampa Bay Rays).

Allen and Deb attended Calvary Assembly of God, Port Charlotte and First United Methodist Church, Punta Gorda. Grandson Josh selflessly helped Deb with loving care during Allen’s last months and love and comfort was found in the fellowship of UMC’s Cancer Support Group. A thank you is not enough to those who were part of this journey.

Allen is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Pam (Brad) Harvey of Olathe, KS; Jennifer (Phil) Quick of Fort Scott, KS; Jeff (Karen) Jones of Monmouth, IL; Melissa Collins of Fort Scott, KS; and Debbie Jo Jones of Punta Gorda, FL; brothers, Casey Jones of Sierra Vista, AZ and Tim Jones of Edmond, OK; sister, Kaysene Miller of Orange, CA; aunt, Sharon Wurtele of Nebraska City, NE; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Allen was predeceased by a great-grandchild.
