Elva Bustamante, 68, passed away on Friday January 22, 2010 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Laredo, Texas on August 26, 1941 to the late Nicolas and Trinidad Hinojosa.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Nicolas and Trinidad Hinojosa and her husband, Arnoldo Bustamante.

She is survived by her children: Belinda Bustamante, Melissa (David) Woods and Laura (Bill) Speck; her grandchildren: Emily Woods, Matthew Woods and William Speck; her siblings: Nick (Carmen) Hinojosa, Jr., Yolanda (Roger) Aguillon, and David (Carol) Hinojosa along with numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Elva was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She loved spending time with her family. She was also a dedicated LVN for over 40 years and an avid reader.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Holy Rosary to be recited 7:00 p.m., that same evening.

Services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
