George and I first met in Sam Houston elementary, where George and Mary were in the same first grade class together.  We certainly enjoyed our experiences playing football together and somehow managed to stay in touch during our early business careers.  He always had a good day, seemed to enjoy life to the fullest, and his humor was contagious.  

We will miss you George!

Sonny,

Learning of your passing floods my mind of all the fun, crazy times we shared during our high school years and all the years since.  I will miss your sense of humor, your personal support, the lost opportunities to share more time together, and most of all, your unwavering friendship over all these years.  I will always cherish the last moments we shared together.  My comfort is knowing God is with you..
