Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Karen "Candy" Ellen Brown was called back to service with God and joined the Choir of Angels in Heaven on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Our Christmas Angel will be missed by all she touched and cared for in her travels. She will be especially missed by her husband, Charles; children, Ken, Tom, Catherine, and Mike; grandchildren, Abbey, Chris, Kevin, Christine, and James. Our family is her greatest treasure and living legacy. In lieu of gifts, please make any donations in her name to one of the following charities: St. Jude's Hospital, Children's Miracle Network, St. Vincent De Paul Society, Habitat for Humanity, or Make a Wish Foundation. Remember, every time you hear a bell, an angel gets her wings. Rosary will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Marks the Evangelist Catholic Church, 1602 Thousand Oaks.
