Alicia Torres, born March 23, 1942 to Willie and Felipa Garza Morales, in Pearsall, Texas, passed away on October 10, 2008, after a short illness. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, Carlos Torres, Sr. who she was married to for 45 years. Alicia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Alicia was most happy spending time with her granddaughters: Kasey Ann and Emily Faith Torres. Alicia was a life long Catholic and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a graduate of W.B. Ray High School, Class of ’60 and Business College; she worked most of her life in the accounting field specializing in oil and gas. Alicia was known as the center of the family and everyone was welcomed to their second home.
